The current situation in Libya is evidently a threat to the security of Libyan people and a crisis for the world community especially over human smuggling and the energy flow.
It would not be a smart decision to give another chance to diplomacy as a failed option, in this critical moment. The world community has to be ready for sacrificing and preparing a decisive approach toward Libya. Keep this logic in mind, Libya is no like Yemen; keeping European security and balance of energy flow significantly depend on stability in Libya.
As human rights is a secondary issue for Afghanistan, 'democracy' is no more in question over Libya. The world community should support any actions, groups or even person that are able to restore stability in the country as soon as possible.

Russia: Trojan Horse
All who experience a sunrise are doomed to admit a sunset unless those who depart the day for the light before that turns into darkness.
Kremlin's ambition for taking over the world leadership position is the essence of its politics and political patriarchy of Russian society. Russian people are typically not seeking for the true democracy but a 'father of the nation'. In such a situation, there is a faint chance that a progressive leader may arise and in contrast, all the pillars are directly or indirectly in the service of Moscow. Even the literature and arts become the 'Trojan Horse' and play a role alternative to Russian Intelligence.
Therefore, first, all of the Russian pillars and not merely its 'Intelligence Service' should be widely identified as a threat or potential threat. Secondly, parameters of the balance of power would not be solid in the current altering world order; the political, economic and social situations of states in the east of Europe need more concentration. Needless to say, updating NATO's functions, guideline and objectives are required.

Moscow: The Division Strategy
Russia is a real threat to the West including the US, European states and definitely Israel. Thus, Middle East issues or the current differences among the Western bloc should not distract them from the danger of Moscow.
A divided Middle East or Europe is the objective of Kremlin. Russia's strategy could disturb the comfort zone of the West through the years. And meanwhile, it could play a critical role in almost every important negotiation table by taking a peaceful gesture including from Iran's nuclear issue to the Syrian and Ukraine crisis. Therefore, Russia has won a lot of points in this game; it has made the West believe that they really are dependent on Russia in the global leadership, which has improved Russia's political prestige. And let alone that Moscow geopolitically benefits from this procedure.
It is more convenient to directly or secretly talk or negotiate with troubled parties rather than involving Russia to the negotiation table, just like the case of North Korea. This approach can gradually decrease the role of Moscow in the global management and the Western states can easily amplify the pressure against the Kremlin to stop the game.

Post-Globalization Economies
Dependency is a known weakness.
Economic globalization is as harmful as addiction to oil, in particular for major powers.
The global economic ties can vanish the leading position of the sates due to deep dependency on their economic and commercial relations with rivals. Keep in mind, the basic leverage of the U.S. in the Cold War era against the Soviet, which gave the upper hand to the Washington in this regard, was not the NATO, but absence of effective economic ties with Eastern Bloc.
Both the U.S. and Europe need to establish an alternative to the current economic world order, in order to reduce their economic dependency on China, Russia and emerging powers including India and Brazil, to make them immune against these world political players.
At the end, the political and economic position of the West is good enough to lead the world, but it cannot be fully achieved until they do not release themselves from economic bonds of globalization.

New Suits for an Unfinished Game
The world is a useless place for human beings without people.
The people are not politicians, champions or heroes. They might be involved in politics and even become a threat to political balances, or defend their country to death; but none of these positions would be permanent for them. They are not extraordinary, but ordinary; not born to be better or the best but the same. This is the reason that there is no lasting era and vogue. Classical and Romantic Schools were popular but they are already gone.
It was an achievement for the system to revive the 68 Movement in the recent years, which made some surprised. But these people from Europe to U.S. that could make whatever was left as dream in 1968 need peace. It is not a reward! This is what gradually is going to take place in their lives; as there were two separate universes between over-politicization of the 60's and political indifferentism of the 80's. For instance because of the socio-political impact of Michael Jackson works, which reproduced the term "good citizens" by a post-modern and radical form.
However, as political attitude of people shapes the ruling politics, their social behaviors can play a similar function, which is why controlling the entertainment industry is a key element for political players. It is evident that the battleground will changed; the war of shows will replace the war of words: consciousness against unconsciousness; fact vs. fiction.

Destruction for Reconstruction
Some European states and companies are dissatisfied with the recent decisions of the White House against Iran's nuclear deal and Iranian Revolutionary Guards, while they are relatively responsible for such a situation. They did not take advantage of their own economic power and in particular their position as financial investors in Iran as a leverage against the ruling class and their predominant policies. The stance of Tehran toward human rights, their paramilitary macro policy and environment has not changed since the nuclear deal.
And of course, a comprehensive dialogue is needed between European corporations and the system. The function of sanction is based on destroying an economy, while destruction is not a goal; it is a targeted reconstruction. The game is not new, and Vietnam is an example in this regard. Unfortunately, since economic actors of the global community cannot play their hand the Iran sanctions should be expanded to reset the time. It is worth to mention, few months later, the reconstruction of Syria will be started; an opportunity to win whatever was lost in the war. There are several ways to delay this reconstruction but the best option is readiness for taking over both economic and political wheels of the post-war Syria.
